(Dad was prompting Van to make grumpy faces, hence the strange expression. I think it adds to the title :)--he's an angry Elf.)
Van's new favorite pajamas are these ones I found on craigslist (a woman was selling a bunch of jammies for cheap--and I'm always trying to stay ahead of growth spurts). They're size 6, so way too big for him, but he saw them and insisted that he try them on. He immediately stripped off his other jammies and put the new ones on. When I told him that they're too big, he looked down at himself and said, "Nope, they're just right!"
