We Have Officially Moved!!!

Yes, it is true. After 3 weeks of living with boxes piled up in our already small apt, we were able to move. Hooray. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of the kind people who helped us move!!! We can't thank you enough!

We have been in our new place for a week now and we are loving it!!! It's so charming. It was funny, all of the people who helped us move in had nice comments about the apartment.
Let me describe: It's a historic 1920's building, with hardwood floors, some original tilework in the bathroom, glass door knobs, and 3 huge storage closets. At our last apt, Derek and I opted for the smaller of the two bedrooms, so the kids can have a bit more space. That wasn't really feasible in this place, so we are in the actual master and WOW we have so much space, it's great! It's actually more than just a BED-room.
I have some pics and will take more interior shots once everything is nicely put away and I get pictures up on the walls.
Here's the outside: gorgeous old building.
Here's the main entrance.
This is what you see when you enter the front door of the main entrance.
This pic below is actually of a vacant 1 bedroom in our complex, so ours is a bit bigger than this but you can see some of the details, the hard wood floors, the curved entryway into the dinning/kitchen. The ceilings are 9ft and coved (which isn't visible in this pic). The black oval thing by the door is an old intercom system that still works: it buzzes people in at the main entrance.

The job aspect of this place is going well also, now that we have unpacked (mostly) and I spent a whole day organizing the office. We only have one vacant unit, which we posted a listing one evening and by the next day we had 6 calls, 2 emails, and about 4 visits and we took 2 applications that day (one for the 1 bedroom and another for an upcoming studio apartment): totally awesome.

That's all for now.

So happy that you guys have finally moved into such a nice place. Can't wait to see the pictures. Don't be bad like us, we still have boxes in our bedroom that we haven't unpacked since we moved over 3 months ago. :(
