Weston's Party

The only requirement that Weston wanted for his birthday was to have a blue dinosaur cake. He has never shown interest in dinosaurs before; I guess this is a budding interest. He also said that he wanted Hobbes and Desmond there. Thank goodness they were available. With those minimal requirements, I was determined for an easy, low key party. We had recently been to a cool McDonald's playland and I thought that would be the perfect spot. It was pretty good. Although we picked a Thursday evening, it was busier than I had ever seen it: darn. However, the party was fun. We had family and friends around, the kiddos got to play and Weston loved his cake and all his presents. Thanks to all involved!

Here it is, big blue!

  (we were a bit apprehensive in choosing a cupcake cake, but Weston picked it. Just FYI, cupcake cakes are repeatedly made fun of, and rightly so, the majority are pretty horrible looking)
