Deena came :)...and went :(

Derek's sister, Deena, and her 9 month old, Eli, came to help us out and to have a vacation. We loved having them here and are glad that they came. We were able to do some fun things before they had to go......we went to $2 Tuesday at the zoo, spent time with cousins that lives up here, but mostly just enjoyed each others company. We miss you Deena and Eli!

Here are some pics of our fun time.

Rub a dub dub, 3 boys in the tub. It was tough getting a clear shot of these very wiggly boys. This was at our the Fullmers place.

Here's Owen giving Eli a kiss good-bye. What a sweet boy.

Eli's first experience with grass (did I mention they are from AZ?) What an awesome expression; a true desert boy.

Deena and Eli literally stopping to smell the roses :).

The boys trip to the local fire department to check out the fire truck.

Van would randomly go over to Eli and give him a kiss.
Eli was terrified of dogs before the trip. Derek nicknamed him "blinky" because he would flinch anytime he even saw the dog in the room. But by the end of the trip, he was going over to the dog to check her out and beat up on her (not on purpose, of course). He got over this fear fast.

Eli getting into things. This boy sure can move.......he was exhausting!

Zoo time! The Portland Zoo is so beautiful. Here's Deena and Eli posing by a bear carving and Van climbing down a tree trunk.

The boys learning how to drive a tractor.

Checking out the local wildlife--of course with some cool shades on.

There's me showing off some of the funny shaped plants that we found at the zoo.

The Fullmers posing with some pretty hip bears.
