For Family Home Evening this Monday we talked about Christmas and what it means, then I found on OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting--PBS for everyone else--but Oregon has found yet another way to stamp their name on something) the Nutcracker was on. I have never actually seen it before, so I was pretty excited. It was great and Van loved watching it too. It was 2 hours long and he almost sat still and watched the whole thing (with a bit of acting out the spins/jumps). The next day Van actually asked to watch it again. I think next year we will have to venture out and see it in person.
