Then Wes started playing with the dog. He always has this sneeky look on his face, as if to say "lookie what I just took."
But funniest of all was when he walked over to where we keep our shoes, grabbed one of his shoes and brought it over to me. He then pushed it at me with some umph. I could tell he wanted to put it on, so I asked him where his other shoe was. He went over and got it and brought it back to me. I put both of his shoes on and he waddled over to the door and hit it. Then turned and looked back at me. What a smarty pants: he figured out that when we put on our shoes, we can go outside.
I realized he has been just as cooped up as we all have, so of course I took him outside.
Poor Betty wasn't invited.
He had so much fun just walking around the grass and looking at the plants and dirt.

Josh can't go anywhere either without picking up rocks. Then he tries to carry as many as possible, like the little mouse on Cinderella with the pieces of corn.
