Weight Check In

Well, to keep myself on check I must admit that my previous goals for this past term (in school) of losing another 10 lbs was a fail. I will however tell you my excuses, but they are just excuses.

Being that this past term in school I was working during the day, going to school at night (not getting home til 10 pm) and then staying up a couple hours to unwind, I would wake up between 8:00 and 9:00 and go to bed around midnight. It was horrible and I didn't find ANY time to work out in that hectic schedule.

I did however find a love of free pastries (Oh the shame). The Credit Union I worked for had a nearby famous bakery 2 blocks away who banked with us and every time they came in to do their banking, they brought us a box full of DELICIOUS pastries. It was temptation beyond my strength. I resisted several times, but those tasty treats got the best of me (I mean they were FREE, I wasn't spending a dime on them and they are EXPENSIVE at the bakery). Plus they would come in once or twice a week. I began to plan my snacks around this scrumptious box that I knew would be there. Mmmmmm.

All that said, I managed to only put on 2, yep that's right 2 pounds. Yea for me. So I went from a total loss of 28 lbs to a total weight loss of 26 lbs, not too shabby all things considered. I must admit I didn't weigh myself the entire time I worked at the Credit Union, so I was living in the fear of what my wonderful pastries were doing to my weight loss goals.

I am now back on track and even bought myself a cute notebook to better track my points (weight watchers lingo). This is my first day back on the tracking program, so wish me luck.

Again, here's a presumably realistic goal for myself: by the end of August I will lose 10-15 lbs. (I would LOVE for this to happen!)
